Dalam tradisi Kitab Suci, Gunung selalu menjadi tempat yang apik untuk bertemu Tuhan. Gunung secara simbolis merupakan lingkungan kondusif untuk berdialog dengan Allah. Nugraha berarti rahmat, berkat. Nugraha juga punya konotasi pemberian dari Allah.
